Job summary

ERP Indonesia seeks an experienced Odoo Developer to design, customize, and develop applications based on Odoo Enterprise/Community to digitize and optimize our clients' business processes. This role demands strong analytical thinking, code quality, and a collaborative mindset to deliver reliable ERP solutions.

You will work across module development, system integration, and database optimization, with a focus on maintainability, testing, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong programming logic, data structures, and algorithms.
• Understanding of Odoo architecture (ORM, Views, Inheritance, Security Rules, QWeb templating).
• Experience with OWL frontend framework is a plus.
• Familiar with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Nice-to-have: Odoo implementation/customization projects or Linux server environment (Ubuntu/Docker).

Responsibilities

• Designing, testing, and maintaining Odoo modules (Backend & Frontend).
• Writing clean, efficient code following Odoo guidelines.
• Integrating Odoo with third-party applications via API (RESTful/XML-RPC/JSON-RPC).

Responsibilities

• Module Development & Customization
  Designing, testing, and maintaining Odoo modules (Backend & Frontend) according to business needs analysis.
• Code Quality
  Writing clean code, structured, efficient, and adhering to Odoo's coding guidelines.
• System Integration
  Building integration between Odoo and third-party applications/systems using API (RESTful, XML-RPC, or JSON-RPC).
• Database Management
  Optimizing query structure and PostgreSQL database performance.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  Performing debugging, fixing bugs, testing applications, and ensuring system stability in the production environment.
• Team Collaboration
  Actively collaborate with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and other development teams to deliver the best ERP solutions.

Requirements and skills

• Strong in basic programming logic, data structures, and algorithms.
• Understanding the Odoo architecture (Odoo ORM, Views, Inheritance, Security Rules, and QWeb Templating).
• Experience or understanding of the latest Odoo frontend framework (OWL - Odoo Web Library) is a significant advantage.
• Familiar with using Version Control System (Git / GitHub / GitLab).
• Point Plus: Have experience handling Odoo implementation / customization projects before or understanding the Linux server environment (Ubuntu/Docker).
