Job summary

PT. Fairrie Games in Jakarta is seeking a Social Media Specialist to build and manage our presence across major platforms for our gaming titles. You will craft engaging content, run campaigns, and interact with the community to foster loyalty and growth.

You will collaborate with game development and content teams to amplify launches, analyse performance data, and optimise campaigns for maximum reach and engagement. This role requires fluency in Indonesian and English and a passion for gaming.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team at PT. Fairrie Games. This is a full-time position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, where you will play a pivotal role in building and managing our social media presence across multiple platforms. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster a loyal community around our gaming titles. This role is essential to our digital marketing efforts and will directly impact our ability to connect with and retain our player base.

Key responsibilities

Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive social media content strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube

Create engaging, high-quality content including text posts, graphics, videos, and interactive media tailored to each platform and audience segment

Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and engage with the community to build relationships and foster brand loyalty

Analyse social media metrics and performance data to measure campaign effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement

Collaborate with the content creation and game development teams to amplify game launches, updates, and promotional campaigns

Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and optimisation to achieve marketing objectives

Identify trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing to keep our strategies current and competitive

Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels whilst adapting messaging for platform-specific audiences

Conduct competitive analysis of competitor social media activities and industry benchmarks

Support crisis management protocols and ensure appropriate responses to negative feedback or issues on social channels

What we're looking for

2+ years of professional experience managing social media for gaming companies, technology firms, or media/entertainment organisations

Proven expertise in developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement, reach, and conversions

Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for maximising content performance

Excellent copywriting and creative skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences

Experience with social media advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) and campaign optimisation

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations

Familiarity with gaming culture, gaming communities, and player dynamics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines

Fluency in Indonesian and English; additional languages are advantageous

Basic video editing skills or familiarity with video content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or CapCut
