Job summary

PT. Fairrie Games Indonesia is seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax professional to join our Finance team in South Jakarta. The role covers accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance to support strategic financial management.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 3–5 years in accounting/tax, with knowledge of SAK and Indonesian tax regs; proficiency in Excel and English, and the ability to work with external auditors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in PMA or multinational.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations (CIT, VAT, withholding taxes).
• Ability to manage accounting processes, monthly closings, financial reporting, and tax compliance independently.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
• Good written and spoken English for professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities: journal entries, GL maintenance, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee tax compliance: calculations, payments, and filings for CIT, VAT, and withholding taxes.
• Monitor tax obligations and regulatory deadlines.
• Review transactions for proper accounting and tax treatment.
• Handle monthly and annual closing processes and maintain records.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Oversee payroll administration and BPJS contributions.
• Support financial analysis, expense control, and cash flow reporting.
• Ensure documentation for reporting, audit, and compliance.

About the role

PT. Fairrie Games Indonesia is seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax professional to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As Accounting and Tax specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and tax compliance of our organisation. You will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax obligations, contributing directly to the strategic financial management of PT. Fairrie Games Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Manage the company's tax compliance, including tax calculations, payments, and filings for applicable corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.

Monitor tax obligations, reporting deadlines, and regulatory updates to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.

Review financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure proper accounting and tax treatment.

Manage monthly and annual closing processes and maintain complete and accurate financial records.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other relevant parties on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters.

Handle payroll administration and employee-related statutory contributions, including BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Support management with financial analysis, expense monitoring, and cash flow reporting.

Ensure accounting and tax documentation is properly maintained and available for reporting, audit, and compliance purposes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax, preferably in a PMA or multinational company.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.

Proven ability to independently manage accounting processes, monthly closing, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally and handle English-language documents.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with management and external parties.

Brevet A/B certification is preferred. Other relevant accounting or tax certifications are an advantage.
