Job summary

PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras in South Jakarta is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor on a contract basis to oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to manage diverse teams including labourers and subcontractors, and strong communication with project managers and clients across Greater Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate diverse crews.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to implement protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project plans.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities on site and ensure progress per schedules and specs.
• Coordinate and supervise labourers, skilled workers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and safety protocols across all site activities.
• Manage site resources including equipment, materials, and personnel to optimise productivity and minimise waste.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, progress documentation and safety logs.
• Communicate progress and issues with project managers and clients.
• Address and resolve on-site issues, escalating when necessary.
• Keep site clean, compliant with requirements, and organized.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to keep personnel engaged.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras on a contract basis. This is a critical on-site leadership position, located in South Jakarta, Greater Jakarta. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction operations, ensuring that projects run smoothly, safely, and within budget. This role is critical to the success of our construction projects and requires an active and hands-on leader who is capable of managing a team, coordinating activities, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety at various project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and specifications
• Supervise and coordinate construction teams, including labourers, skilled workers, and subcontractors
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety standards, and compliance with project requirements
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols across all site activities
• Manage site resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimise productivity and minimise waste
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, progress documentation, and safety logs
• Address and resolve on-site issues promptly, escalating concerns to management when necessary
• Ensure the site is kept clean, organised, and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to maintain awareness and engagement among site personnel

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards relevant to building projects
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, including the ability to implement and enforce safety protocols
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project plans
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction supervision or site management are advantageous
