Job summary

PT Fita Sehat Nusantara is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure for our health-tech platform in Indonesia. You will own monitoring, reliability, and automation to accelerate development and deployment.

Join a fast-moving team: collaborate with engineering and product to design resilient systems, implement IaC with Terraform and GitHub, and optimize observability across microservices in a GCP Indonesia region.

Qualifications

Fita is a health-tech platform that aims to plug the preventive healthcare gap in Indonesia with localized content that has been curated by certified fitness trainers & nutritionists. We are looking for Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the optimal resources of infrastructure can be delivered through agile process to support system/software development process by tightly engaged with Engineering Team. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

• Golang and Typescript for Backend
• GraphQL for API Gateway in NodeJS and Apollo
• Google Cloud Platform in Indonesia region with services BigQuery, Pubsub, GKE, Cloud SQL

Responsibility:

• Participate in the entire software development process including design, development, delivery, monitoring, and improvement
• Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
• Closely collaborating with other engineering and product teams to ensure that expected system behavior is understood and monitoring exists to detect anomalies
• Participate in continuous improvement and execution of quality and timely major incident root cause analysis and blameless post-mortem activities to ensure we take action to avoid similar problems in the future

Requirements:

• Preferably 1+ years of experience as Site Reliability Engineer/Software Engineer/Systems Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
• Solid understanding of Agile Methods and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience and advanced understanding of Observability, CI/CD and release management
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems with understanding of microservices architecture concepts
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and Automation (ex : Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Packer and Git, GitHub) preferred
