Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead MEP activities at the project site, ensuring quality, cost, schedule, and safety targets are met. You will coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams while reporting progress to the Project Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, CAD drawing proficiency, and English communication skills, with BIM knowledge advantageous for data center projects.

Qualifications

• D3/S1 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years as Site Manager on MEP or data center projects.
• Proficient in CAD drawing; BIM knowledge advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate MEP activities at the project site to ensure execution meets project quality, cost, schedule, and safety targets.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams in line with the project schedule and provide progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.


• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Manager, preferably in MEP or data center projects.


• Strong understanding of MEP systems for buildings and data centers, particularly electrical systems.


• Proficient in CAD Drawing; knowledge of BIM software is an advantage.


• Good command of English, both written and verbal.


• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.


• Able to work under tight deadlines and project targets.


• Strong technical mindset with good attention to detail.


• Experience with project management training and knowledge of relevant installation standards/regulations is an advantage.
