Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Civil/Structural Inspector to join our on-site team in West Java, Desa Ciranjeng. You will monitor civil, structural, and architectural works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and schedules.

You will inspect material deliveries, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and review ITPs/NCRs, ensuring adherence to local codes and safety standards. Strong English communication is required; AutoCAD a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
1–5 years of experience in civil/structural inspection, preferably in high-rise or mission-critical projects like data centers.
Able to read and understand related construction drawings and methods.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and inspect civil, structural, and architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Ensure construction activities align with the project schedule, method statements, and technical specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress and quality reports.
Verify material deliveries and ensure they meet project requirements.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
Review and approve inspection test plans (ITPs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and close-out documentation.
Ensure adherence to local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards.
