Job summary

PT Moda Global Maritim in Indonesia seeks a Naval/Marine Engineer to oversee vessel operations from both technical and non-technical angles. You will lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and docking activities, ensuring projects finish on time and within budget.

The role requires at least 3 years in shipping or shipyard, familiarity with Vetting, PSA and ISM Code, and willingness to travel. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential to sustain our high standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• S1/D4 in Naval Engineering or Marine Engineering System.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping/shipyard industry.
• Experience in vessel maintenance, troubleshooting, repair list, and docking activities.
• Familiar with Vetting, PSA, and ISM Code.
• Willing to travel for business trips.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel operations from technical and non-technical perspectives.
• Achieve docking projects on time in line with company targets.
• Support the GGOB program to maintain and improve company net profit.
• Proactively contribute to company work programs and initiatives.
• Ensure vessel maintenance costs and docking activities are well-controlled, measurable, and within budget.
• Maintain vessel commission days and uphold company culture onboard.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with charterers.
