Job summary

Ultimo SOLUTION in Bandung is seeking a Senior Welding Leader with strong experience in welding and steel fabrication to guide and supervise welding and fabrication teams. You will read shop drawings, manage welding sequences, and ensure quality control while coordinating with production.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in welding, leadership roles, and good English communication; SolidWorks/Inventor is a plus, and experience in heavy steel structures is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in welding or steel fabrication.
• Experience as Welding Leader, Welding Supervisor, Welding Foreman, or Senior Welder.
• Experience leading welding/fabrication teams.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• SolidWorks/Inventor experience is a plus.
• Experience in tower, transmission, utility structure, or heavy steel fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand welding and steel fabrication processes.
• Read shop drawings and welding symbols.
• Understand fit-up, tack welding, welding sequence, and assembly processes.
• Understand welding quality and basic welding defects.
• Conduct inspection and review of welding work results.
• Direct and lead welder/fabricator teams.
• Understand QC processes and welding repair.
