Job summary

PT Glovis Indonesia International is seeking a seasoned logistics leader to develop container usage plans, optimize capacity, and reduce idle costs. You will supervise the operations team and coordinate cross‑functionally with warehouse, customer service, and planning to ensure smooth shipments.

Responsibilities include monitoring daily trucking operations, ensuring on-time delivery, managing documentation, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking operations, container planning, or logistics management.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional team management.
• In-depth knowledge of trucking regulations, container logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in route planning, fleet management systems, and tracking tools.
• Strong analytical skills for cost control and efficiency optimization.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop container usage plans aligned with shipment requirements.
• Optimize capacity utilization and minimize costs from idle or empty returns.
• Oversee daily export and import trucking operations and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of shipment data including logs and invoices.
• Monitor vendor KPI performance and provide feedback.
• Consolidate daily operational reports and monthly summaries.
• Lead operations team and coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and planning.
• Handle operational issues and implement corrective actions.
