Job summary

PT Unelec Indonesia (UNINDO) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design power transformers, tanks, cooling systems, and related mechanical components. You will review general arrangement drawings and oversee foundation and support structures while coordinating with manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, and ANSYS, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or related roles.
• Knowledge of transformers and high voltage switchgear is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design transformer mechanical components, tanks, covers, and foundations.
• Prepare BOMs and parts lists for manufacturing.
• Coordinate analyses (FEA, seismic, strength) and report results.
• Ensure compliance with standards and manufacturing capabilities.
