Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead testing efforts from design to implementation. You will build and maintain test automation systems using Playwright and WebDriverIO, write robust test scripts in TypeScript and Go, and drive test policies alongside developers and PMs.

You will design and execute smoke, regression, functional, and performance tests, collaborate in CI pipelines (Github Actions) and leverage Docker/Kubernetes where needed to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in testing software, including test automation.
• Strong coding in TypeScript and Go, plus test-driven development mindset.
• Experience designing and building tools used across teams.
• Familiar with AI concepts and modern testing approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing from design to implementation and solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with squad, developers, PM, and QA to deliver quality product.
• Perform smoke, regression, functional, and acceptance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation systems and scripts.
• Review design docs and plan testability into the product.
• Track progress, report testing status, and monitor releases to production.
