SoftwareSeni is looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our Yogyakarta team. The role requires a minimum of 5 years experience in test automation, proficiency in TypeScript, and a strong understanding of both STLC and Agile testing processes.

You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing comprehensive cases, and mentoring junior QA engineers. If you are fluent in English and eager to contribute to a diverse team, this opportunity is made for you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Proficient in TypeScript (main stack) or at least JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Strong understanding of STLC and Agile testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand complex business/system requirements.
• Develop, create, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Analyze test results, report bugs and errors to development teams.

Skills

Test automation experience

TypeScript or JavaScript proficiency

Understanding of STLC and Agile testing

Automation tools expertise (Playwright, Maestro)

Mobile automation tools experience (Appium, Detox, Espresso)

Designing and maintaining automation frameworks

API testing and backend validation

Familiarity with CI/CD workflows

Experience with Dockerized testing environments

Understanding of mobile testing

Building comprehensive testing strategies

Hands-on experience with AI tools

Security testing knowledge (OWASP best practices)

Strong communication skills in English
