Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior TechOps & Release Automation Engineer (G4) to lead operational health and release readiness for DevHome and partner-facing platforms. This hybrid role centers on solving operational problems with code, improving reliability, and owning the full platform lifecycle.

You will support partner onboarding, Android/iOS release activities, and automation across operational processes. On-site in Jakarta, collaborating with engineering, QA, PM, BD, Legal, and Operations to keep

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in TechOps, DevOps, SRE, release engineering, platform support, or similar roles.
Go (Golang) skills to navigate a large monorepo.
Experience across application and operations layers, including code, infra, CI/CD, secrets, docs, and prod troubleshooting.
Experience with release operations, production change management, feature rollouts and mobile app releases.
Troubleshooting judgment, ability to assess growth, root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
Working knowledge of GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
Hands-on with Terraform and AWS (Route53, security groups, runners, lifecycle management, safe infra changes).
Working knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS, Helm charts, service-mesh networking, namespaces, staged migrations, MEKS migrations.
CI/CD pipelines, GitLab pipeline troubleshooting, release automation, deployment workflows (Conveyor or similar).
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), token flows, secret management for partner APIs.
Experience with Vault or similar secret/token management systems.
Familiarity with React and Docusaurus for partner portal UI and docs workflows.
Experience investigating operational issues with Datadog, Kibana, logs, telemetry.
Building internal admin tools, workflow automation, Slack bots, etc.
Partner management and collaboration across BD, Legal, Ops, and external developers.
Experience supporting external partner platforms including canary/phased rollouts, post-mortems, runbooks.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end DevHome operations, partner onboarding support, and release execution from intake through post-release verification.
Manage Android and iOS release activities, including cutoffs, submissions, phased rollouts, cherry-picks, rollback readiness, and release tracking.
Resolve operations escalations related to partner access, login issues, onboarding blockers, config requests, and publishing flows.
Make safe production changes across Go services, React/Docusaurus surfaces, configurations, secrets, tokens, and developer docs.
Maintain Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure, GitLab runners, CI/CD pipelines, and other reliability-critical tooling.
Investigate and respond to production incidents using Datadog, Kibana, and system-level troubleshooting.
Support infrastructure lifecycle work: AMI rotation, EC2 and Docklet maintenance, backend scaling, MEKS migrations.
Develop automation, scripts, and internal tools to reduce manual effort in release management and partner ops.
Contribute to on-call readiness, RCA follow-ups, SOP improvements, and runbook maintenance.
Partner with cross-functional and external partners to unblock launches and keep platform ops moving.
