Job summary

Grab in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Payments Acquiring team. You will lead development of the latest financial solutions, driving collaboration and reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, and work onsite in our Jakarta Office.

The role requires 4+ years of backend experience with Go, hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and cloud platforms, and a balance of coding with leadership responsibilities as you mentor others while driving execution plans.

We are looking for an experienced and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our iteam. You will lead the development of the latest financial solutions, driving and encouraging a collaborative environment. You will be an Individual Contributor role and reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager. You will work onsite in our Jakarta Office

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in backend development with Go (Golang)
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), compute technologies (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experienced in balancing hands‑on engineering with leadership responsibilities—mentoring others while still writing code and driving execution plans
• Proficiency in English both verbal and written
