Job summary

BYD is seeking a Senior Sales professional in Bali/Subang to lead engine/powertrain sales and drive partnerships with OEMs, fleets, and industrial partners. You will craft market penetration strategies and steer negotiations, ensuring alignment with local regulations and BYD standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in automotive or B2B sales, plus English proficiency and ideally Chinese language skills, to coordinate cross-functional teams in a rapidly growing Indonesian market.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in automotive or B2B sales.
• Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales of BYD engine/powertrain products to clients.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with vehicle manufacturers, bodybuilders, and fleets.
• Develop and execute market penetration strategies to grow BYD's market share in Indonesia.
• Build and maintain relationships with Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing design, and long-term delivery planning.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet specs and regulatory requirements.
• Bridge technical and commercial communication between clients and BYD's product teams.
• Analyze industry trends and regulatory policy (TKDN and emission standards) and competitor moves.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market risk mitigation strategies.

Senior Sales

• Lead the sales of BYD engine/powertrain products (including EV/HEV powertrain components, drive systems, and supporting technologies);
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with vehicle manufacturers, bodybuilders, commercial fleets, and industrial partners;
• Develop and execute market penetration strategies to increase BYD's market share in the Indonesian automotive component sector;
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with Tier 1 suppliers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and key business partners;
• Lead commercial contract negotiations, pricing structure design, and long-term product delivery planning;
• Work closely with internal R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure that engine/powertrain products meet customer technical specifications and local regulatory requirements;
• Serve as a bridge for technical and commercial communication between clients and BYD's product manufacturing/development teams;
• Analyze automotive industry trends, local regulatory policies (such as TKDN and emission standards), and competitor movements;
• Regularly prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market risk mitigation strategies for management review.

Requirements
