Job summary

bp is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Jakarta to provide frontline process-engineering support for safe, reliable LNG production. You will focus on troubleshooting, performance monitoring, analysis, optimization and process safety.

You will lead or support discipline investigations, develop maintenance strategies, and ensure changes are justified with documented engineering rationale. Hybrid office/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of process-engineering experience in oil and gas with an operator, consultant or EPC.
• Strong LNG onshore-processing understanding with knowledge of offshore facilities and LNG export systems.
• Proficient in Aspen HYSYS and international-standard engineering calculations.
• Familiar with PI ProcessBook/PI Vision, Palantir and data-analysis tools.
• Knowledge of risk management and Locked Open/Locked Closed Valve management.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline process-engineering support for safe, reliable LNG production and performance monitoring.
• Lead or support RCFA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop maintenance tasks, intervals and SAP PM builds from historical data.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard reviews; ensure risk-based decisions are documented.
• Support MOC, brownfield modifications, equipment replacement and project deliverables.
• Maintain PFDs, P&IDs and LOLC Register; assist debottlenecking and modifications.
