Job summary

Traveloka Financing is seeking a Principal / Staff Business Operations specialist to tackle the hardest risk-control problems with no direct reports. You will translate Must Win Battles into actionable operations and drive regional improvements across Southeast Asia.

You will own complex risk‑operations issues end to end, influence cross‑functional partners with evidence, and contribute to policy and process enhancements to scale risk operations across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of deep experience in business or risk operations, lending, fintech, or consulting.
• Advanced hands-on command of operational and risk data and the credit concepts behind it.
• Ability to design operating models and controls that scale across multiple markets and regulators.
• Strong analytical depth with the judgment to make calls under uncertainty.
• Influence senior stakeholders through evidence and credibility, not authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans, processes, and controls aligned to Risk Control's priorities, with direct impact on the domain's results.
• Own the most complex, cross-market risk-operations problems end to end, balancing operational and financial trade-offs.
• Enhance policies, processes, and products as a key contributor on improvement project teams.
• Run deep analysis shaping decisions on loss, approval, fraud, and cost-to-serve, proposing actions within your area.
• Influence Product, Risk, Compliance, Data, and Engineering with evidence-based positions.
• Set the technical bar for the function, mentoring analysts while remaining an IC.
• Lead high-lever improvement initiatives across countries.
