DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking a Regional Mechanical Operations Leader to oversee SEA data center mechanical activities. You will own liquid cooling operations, standardize regional practices, and guide site teams through complex challenges.

The role emphasizes reliability, energy efficiency, and safe operations across multiple sites in South East Asia, with travel as required. A strong background in cooling systems and cross-site governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering or facilities operations.
• Experience leading regional programs across multiple sites preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems: chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical failures and perform root cause analyses.
• Willingness to travel across South East Asia.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional mechanical operations across SEA data centers.
• Own liquid cooling readiness including CDUs, loops, manifolds, heat exchangers.
• Provide second-level technical support to site teams for complex mechanical issues.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance for reliability.
• Develop regional operating standards and maintenance playbooks.
• Support commissioning and handover from projects to operations.
• Monitor energy efficiency, PUE, and cooling capacity.
• Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety.
• Build regional capability through training and knowledge sharing.
