Job summary

PT Teknologi Weldim Indonesia is seeking a Principal RBI Engineer – Pipelines to lead risk-based inspection programs for onshore transmission and offshore pipelines. The role focuses on RBI, degradation evaluation, and integrity management planning.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Materials/Metallurgical/Marine Engineering or related fields, with 10+ years in pipeline RBI/RLA/RE and expertise in API 580/581 and ASME B31.4/B31.8, driving long-term asset strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Marine Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 10 years of experience, with 5+ years dedicated to pipeline RBI, RLA, and RE studies per API 580, API 581, ASME B31.4 & ASME B31.8.
Strong understanding of pipeline integrity management and related standards.

Responsibilities

Lead risk modeling, degradation evaluation, and RBI programs for onshore transmission and offshore pipeline networks.
Evaluate inline inspection (ILI) data, corrosion trends, and formulate pipeline integrity management plans.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective RBI implementation and asset integrity strategies.
