Job summary

Data Center Construction is seeking an experienced QS MEP Manager to lead cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for hyperscale data center projects. The role requires strong English and extensive MEP/QS background in construction.

The incumbent will manage budgets, BOQs, supplier negotiations, and ensure compliance with safety and contractual standards. Willingness to work in challenging environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Business level English proficiency.
• Minimum 3 years as QS Manager; 5 years as QS or M&E in construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted works.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to stay within targets.
• Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specs.
• Manage tender process from pre-tender to post-contract, including tender docs and price analyses.
• Source and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and administer construction contracts; review payments and variations.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze variations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive standardization of Quantity Surveying processes and ensure compliance with safety policies.
