Job summary

PT.ASIAN COLLECTIONS GARMENTS in Jakarta seeks a senior QC Specialist to ensure garment samples meet buyer specifications and industry standards. You will monitor development, perform inline and final inspections, and collaborate with Sample Room, Pattern, Sewing, Merchandising, and Production teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in garment QC/technical roles, strong English, a degree in a relevant field, and a proven ability to lead from development through production

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of garment QC/technical experience.
• Experience in garment factory or buying agent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QC, sample development, pattern, and sewing processes.
• Good English communication with buyers and QA team.
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university; IGTC/Textile School advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage production from development to delivery.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and creative in solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the sample development and production process closely and provide technical support to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Conduct in-line inspections on the sewing floor during sample development to ensure workmanship, measurements, construction, and quality meet buyer requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and measurements of sample garments and patterns according to approved standards.
• Verify sample garments, Tech Packs, patterns, measurements, and construction details against buyer specifications.
• Review sample workmanship, sewing construction, measurements, and overall garment quality before submission to buyers.
• Coordinate with Sample Room, Pattern, Sewing, Merchandising, and Production teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Provide technical support and recommendations related to pattern adjustments, sewing processes, garment construction, and quality issues.
• Follow up on sample development, revisions, and corrections until the required quality standard and buyer approval are achieved.
• Review samples and release fabric for cutting after confirming the required specifications.
• Follow up on indent/material requirements and ensure necessary changes from previous samples are properly implemented.
