RGF HR Agent Indonesia is seeking a Senior QA/QC for an Apparel/Trading client in Jakarta to coordinate development with manufacturing partners and ensure compliance with Japan Head Office standards. The role requires working across production, merchandising, and logistics to maintain product quality throughout the development and mass production processes.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of QA/QC experience in fashion/trading or related third-party inspection, and strong knowledge of Japanese

• Business English proficiency required.
• Min 7 years QA/QC experience in retail/fashion trading or third‑party inspection.
• Experience with production management from development to shipment.
• Knowledge of Japanese quality standards for products.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate development with manufacturing partners to meet Japan Head Office standards.
• Work with production, merchandising, and logistics to ensure quality throughout manufacturing.
• Track production schedules, capacity, and delivery deadlines.
• Supervise quality inspections and guide factories on-site.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Suggest spec changes to reduce costs and boost manufacturing efficiency.
• Regular business trips to factories.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development with selected manufacturing partners, ensuring product specifications and requirements align with Japan Head Office standards.
• Work closely with production, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
• Track production schedules, manufacturing capacity, and delivery deadlines throughout the product development and mass production processes.
• Supervise product quality inspections, provide technical guidance to factories, and address quality-related issues through on-site coordination.
• Investigate product quality issues and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions to minimize defects and prevent recurrence.
• Control production costs by recommending specification modifications and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Regular business trip to factory
• Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Business English Proficiency
• Min. 7 years of experience as a QA/QC in Retail (Product Development & Management System), Fashion Trading (Product Development & Management System), or Third-Party Inspector companies, with understanding of Production Management (from the development stage to the production process and shipment)
• Strong knowledge of Japanese quality standards, with prior experience handling products for Japanese brands
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently while consistently delivering assigned tasks
