Job summary

Li & Fung is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance for apparel to ensure product quality from pre-production through final inspection. You will collaborate with factories, merchandising, and cross-functional teams to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions, with emphasis on washed garments and complex washing programs.

The role requires evaluation of fabric, garment construction, workmanship, measurements, and finish, while leading QA improvements across production

Qualifications

• Experience in QA for apparel from pre-production to final inspection.
• Strong knowledge of washed garments and washing programs.
• Ability to assess garment construction, workmanship, measurements, appearance.
• Ability to identify quality risks and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication with factories and cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor product quality from pre-production through bulk production and final inspection.
• Conduct pre-production, in-line, and final quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications, approved samples, and quality standards.
• Assess fabric, garment construction, workmanship, measurements, and finished product quality.
• Provide technical and QA support to factories and merchandising teams to prevent, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
• Identify quality risks, perform root-cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions with factories.
• Communicate quality issues, tolerance requirements, and corrective actions clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with merchandising and other cross-functional teams throughout the production process.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality standards and QA processes.
