Job summary

PT.Kencana Garment Indonesia seeks a QA Manager to implement JIS standards and the Quality Manual into production SOPs, lead PP meetings and sample approvals, and manage quality control across raw materials, process and final inspections. You will coordinate audits, handle quality claims with 8D reports within 24 hours, and drive 5S/Kaizen improvements.

The role requires minimum 5 years in export garment QA, proficiency in JIS, AQL, and needle detector operation, plus strong data analysis skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years QA experience in export garment factory.
• Proficient in JIS standards, AQL methods, and needle detector operation.
• Skilled in computer operation (MS Office/Excel, email, factory management/ERP systems) for quality report preparation and data analysis.
• Detail-oriented with Japanese craftsmanship standards and strong communication skills (English/Japanese).

Responsibilities

• Apply Japanese quality standards (JIS) and Quality Manual buyer into production SOPs; lead PP Meeting and PP Sample approval.
• Oversee fabric/accessories inspection (4-Point System), lab testing, and Light Box management.
• Conduct First Piece Approval, in-line inspection (IPQC), and size tolerance monitoring (±0.5 cm).
• Operate factory computer/ERP systems for digital quality report data input.
• Execute daily needle detector machine calibration, broken needle management control, and ensure 100% metal-free clearance.
• Control AQL (1.0/1.5), packaging, and prevent mold/moisture issues.
• Prepare audit reports and shipment reports in digital format.
• Support buyer/third-party audits, handle quality claims with 8D analysis reports within 24 hours using computer.
• Implement 5S and Kaizen improvements.
