Job summary

BIPO SERVICE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to QA strategy, design test plans, and execute across the SDLC.

You will use AI-assisted tools to boost coverage, maintain defect tracking, and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve issues. The role requires 3+ years in QA and a solid foundation in test planning, case design, and metrics; experience with JIRA/Xray/TestRail is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience with software testing and AI-assisted testing practices.
• Solid QA fundamentals: test planning, test case design, test execution, defect lifecycle, and metrics.
• Experience using AI-assisted testing tools (AI-powered test case generation, data creation, defect analysis).
• Experience testing software against functional specs and external/industry standards.
• Working knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Xray, TestRail, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to QA strategy, test plan design, and execution across the SDLC.
• Design test plans, tests cases, and scenarios aligned to specs and design docs.
• Use AI-assisted tools to boost test coverage, generate test cases/data, run executions, and analyze defects.
• Maintain defect tracking, test documentation/evidence, and QA metrics.
• Collaborate with QA managers, developers, and engineers on debugging and resolution.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-powered testing/automation tools to raise productivity and quality.
