Job summary

Datalec Precision Installations (DPI) seeks a Projects Director to own customer accounts and manage the full project life cycle, from bid to completion, ensuring profitability and high client satisfaction. You will lead delivery, safety, compliance, and escalation management across complex data centre projects.

You will oversee design, procurement, and field teams, coordinate with commercial and HR functions, and drive reporting, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years in a senior project/delivery role.
• Deep expertise in electrical and mechanical systems for data centres.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong Health and Safety leadership and compliance across the project.
• Senior representative managing key customer accounts and budgets.
• Establish and maintain customer teams to maximise account growth and profitability.
• Lead HR processes and people management responsibilities.
• Ensure projects comply with ISO requirements and business systems.
• Own client relations and support bid activities and proposals.
• Lead the delivery phase to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and performance, including risk management.
