Job summary

Mubadala Energy is seeking a senior Project Risk Manager to lead and maintain the project risk management process across the Execute phase for offshore development activities. You will ensure systematic identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making and delivery.

The role requires coordinating risk workshops, maintaining risk registers, integrating risk information with cost and schedule, and ensuring HSSE risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Risk Management, Business, or other relevant disciplines.
• Professional certification in Risk Management, Project Controls, or Project Management (PMI-RMP, PMP, AACE or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Risk Management, Project Controls, Project Services, or related disciplines within the oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the Project Risk Management Framework.
• Maintain the project risk register and act as the focal point for Risk Connect by ARM or equivalent risk management system.
• Ensure risks and opportunities are identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored, reported, and escalated consistently.
• Facilitate risk workshops, reviews, and assessments with Package Managers, Discipline Leads, Contractors, and Risk Owners.
• Coordinate qualitative and quantitative risk assessment activities, including QSRA / CSRA inputs.
• Monitor mitigation actions, track close-out progress, and elevate overdue or ineffective actions.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, management summaries, and decision-support materials.
• Integrate risk information with project controls (cost, schedule, contingency, forecasting, and execution planning).
• Promote proactive risk ownership and risk-based decision-making across the project team.
• Ensure HSSE-related risks are captured, monitored, and reported within the project risk management process.
• Comply with Company HSSE Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
