Job summary

Mubadala Energy is seeking a Sr Engineer, Onshore Instrument & Control for the ORF project. You will lead I&C engineering, define philosophies, and ensure integration with offshore facilities from FEED through commissioning and handover.

The role requires deep expertise in ICSS, metering, HIPPS, FGS, and safety systems, with strong leadership and coordination across multi-discipline teams in EPCI projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in upstream oil & gas projects.
• Experience in integrated offshore field development with offshore and onshore facilities.
• Strong track record from FEED to commissioning in EPCI projects.
• Brownfield tie-ins and live facility modifications desirable.
• Experience with metering, ICSS, FGS, and control system architecture.
• Experience in control loop tuning, commissioning, and start-up of production facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as discipline lead for Instrumentation & Control engineering for the ORF project.
• Define and review I&C philosophies, specs, datasheets, layouts, and deliverables for ORF systems (metering, ICSS, SIS, HIPPS, FGS).
• Ensure proper integration of onshore I&C with offshore facilities and brownfield systems at Arun.
• Lead HAZOP/HAZID/SIL/LOPA from an I&C and safety perspective.
• Review and approve vendor packages, FAT/SAT procedures per IEC/API/standards.
• Provide SME support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
