Job summary

Plan International Indonesia is seeking a Senior Project Finance Officer based in Kupang, NTT to lead financial planning, monitoring, and reporting for the program portfolio in line with donor requirements and YPII policies.

The role requires collaboration with Program, Grants, Supply Chain Management, and People & Culture teams, supervising Finance Officers and supporting partner financial reporting while maintaining safeguarding and gender equality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or commerce.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in international orgs or INGOs.
• Effective English language skills for professional communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong digital literacy with advanced Excel; familiarity with accounting software.
• Prior experience with SAP (Finance & Project Module) is highly desirable.
• Experience managing donor-funded projects with major donors.
• Willing to be placed in Kupang, NTT; strong training and coaching skills.
• Financial problem-solving capabilities and clear communication across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial transactions, including payments, fund transfers, and documentation.
• Monitor budget utilization and expenditures to ensure donor compliance and standards.
• Review payment requests, coding, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Conduct budget monitoring, forecasts, and variance analysis for decision-making.
• Oversee finances of Implementation Partners, including liquidation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and finance teams on budgets and actions.
• Prepare donor financial reports with timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records and support audits.
• Support month- and year-end closing and related activities.
• Ensure safeguarding, PSHEA, GESI, and Code of Conduct compliance.
