Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a Production Manager to lead 6-8 section managers in assembly areas, drive production excellence, and implement strategic initiatives. You will supervise staffing, development, and performance programs while ensuring safety and efficiency in manufacturing operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing, strong Lean/Six Sigma experience, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Operations, or similar).
• 7+ years in supervisory/managerial roles in shop/operations manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead PQVC for value streams and manage staffing, development, and performance programs.
• Oversee safety, schedules, and resource usage to meet production targets.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implement cost and quality controls.
