Job summary

PT Haskoning Indonesia in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Process & Utility Engineer to design, optimize and deliver safe, efficient process and utility systems across industries. You will lead conceptual through detailed engineering, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage clients to drive high-quality solutions.

The role requires 8–12+ years of experience, a chemical engineering background (mechanical acceptable), knowledge of process design and safety reviews, and strong English

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering is required; Mechanical Engineering acceptable with strong process experience.
• 8–12+ years in process and utility engineering within consultancy or EPC environments.
• Strong background in industrial and manufacturing utility systems.
• Experience leading or participating in HAZOP/HAZID and process safety reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute design for process and utility systems across project phases.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, electrical, and other teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Review vendor bids, datasheets, and contractor deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive standardization and knowledge sharing.
• Engage with clients to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions.
