Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Director to lead the PMC organization for major projects in Indonesia. You will oversee engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring safety, quality, cost control, and schedule adherence.

The role requires extensive senior leadership experience in large-scale projects within PMC or Owner's Engineer environments, with strong governance and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of major project experience.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale metallurgical or mining processing facilities.
• Experience in Asia-Pacific industrial projects.
• Experience in PMC, Owner's Engineer, or Program Management environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMC organization through all project phases including feasibility, FEED, EPC, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Act as the primary interface between Owner and EPC Contractor(s).
• Manage project governance and reporting, and chair reviews and performance meetings.
• Oversee cost control, schedule management, and change management.
• Lead safety, risk management, and environmental compliance workstreams.
• Coordinate stakeholders, lenders, and regulators; facilitate permits as required.
• Direct engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover readiness activities.
• Drive commissioning readiness and operational readiness to ensure performance guarantees.
