Job summary

Synechron, Jakarta-based global consulting firm, is seeking a Business Analyst with 5–10 years of experience to join our financial services practice. The role focuses on requirements gathering, functional specifications, and coordination across client stakeholders to ensure successful implementations.

You will support SIT/UAT, card processing systems, and reconciliation activities while translating complex business rules into actionable specifications.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Business requirements and functional requirements documentation.
• Functional design specifications and configuration documents.
• Reconciliation and settlement process mapping and documentation.
• SIT and UAT support, including test scenarios, test cases, and defect management support.
• Production support documentation and stabilization reports.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, configuration, and optimization of reconciliation engine solutions.
• Provide functional expertise for Card Management Platforms and payment applications.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, operational, and functional requirements from Client stakeholders.
• Configure reconciliation, clearing, and settlement parameters per client requirements.
• Perform transaction lifecycle analysis including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, reversals, and adjustments.
• Support design reviews and validate solution alignment with requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
• Investigate and resolve transaction issues, discrepancies, and incidents.
• Define operational procedures, controls, and reporting needs.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to client personnel.
• Participate in governance, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
