Job summary

PT Hana Fashion Indonesia is seeking a skilled technical designer/pattern maker to translate design concepts into production-ready patterns. You will lead pattern making, grading, and marker planning, ensuring accurate fabric calculations and QC throughout the pre-production process.

You should have at least 3 years of experience in technical design/pattern making, be deadline-driven, and possess strong sewing skills to create garment samples. Proficiency in Optitex CAD is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in pattern making, grading, marker making, fabric calculation and QC.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical design/pattern making.
• Able to analyze workload and plan accordingly.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive with a solution-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills.
• Great sewing skills and able to create garment samples.

Responsibilities

• Determin(es) corrections to achieve fit by manipulating pattern or flat technical sketches.
• Creates initial sample specifications from design sketch; establish close partnership with Design to interpret concepts.
• Meet weekly with Development Team regarding sample approval to maintain calendars.
• Ensure all specs are correctly graded prior to production.
• Directs execution of fit from development through production.
• Interfaces with Design to ensure fit, balance and aesthetics throughout pre-production.
• Identifies opportunities for more effective ways to construct product.
