Job summary

British American Tobacco Indonesia invites applications for a Senior Operations and Supplier Excellence Manager in Malang. The role focuses on daily supply base management, KPI-driven manufacturing performance, and continuous improvement with Tier 1 suppliers across production, quality, and delivery.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering or applied science degree with 10 years’ experience in production environments, strong RCA/FMEA skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Applied Science or Engineering field with a background in consumer electronics manufacturing and injection molding or tooling.
• 10 years’ experience in production or factory environments.
• Hands-on experience leading Tier 1 suppliers and broader supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Daily liaison and supply base management for Production, Quality, Optimization, Cost and Delivery.
• Resolves supplier issues threatening supply and delivery.
• Drives Manufacturing Performance KPI to meet targets.
• Delivers and leads an effective and flexible supply base.
• Ensures manufacturing capacity is optimized to meet future demand.
• Leads continuous improvement with suppliers (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, VSM, OEE).
• Applies project management principles and communicates risks, issues, and opportunities clearly.
