Job summary

Ably Resources is seeking a Senior Structural Designer (S3D) for offshore projects on a 1-year fixed term contract. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality 3D structural models and engineering documentation while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

The selected candidate will own offshore structural modelling tasks, support design deliverables, and contribute to tender submissions and resource planning. Extensive S3D experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 15+ years offshore structural design experience.
• Extensive experience using Hexagon S3D for offshore modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D structural models for offshore projects.
• Produce drawings and documentation to project schedules.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering and design disciplines across projects.
• Mentor junior designers and support fabrication activities.
