Job summary

Akraya Group is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for our telecom infrastructure in Depok, West Java. The role focuses on protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network against evolving cyber threats.

You will design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents in a hands-on, on-site capacity. Five to seven-plus years of experience in telecommunications security, with expertise in firewalls,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network security engineering, with focus on telecommunications networks.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security architectures and solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM systems.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits of the network infrastructure.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor network traffic for security breaches and anomalous activity, and respond promptly to security incidents.
• Investigate security alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing remediation measures.
• Configure and manage security devices and software, ensuring optimal performance and effectiveness.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Collaborate with network operations and IT teams to integrate security best practices into network design and deployment.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to technical staff.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.
