Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) to establish on-site mining operations in North Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara, Indonesia. You will ensure compliance with ESDM regulations, oversee stockpile management, grade control, and contractor oversight while leading a skilled team.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mining Eng or Geology with POP, POM, POU and 8+ years in nickel mining, strong leadership, safety culture, and stakeholder engagement with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Valid POP, POM, and POU certifications (POU required for legal KTT status).
• Minimum 8+ years in nickel mining with managerial or KTT experience.
• Strong knowledge of ESDM regulations, RKAB, mine planning, grade control, and stockpile management.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ESDM regulations and liaise with government agencies, including permits and RKAB.
• Lead preparation, evaluation, and control of RKAB, feasibility studies, and AMDAL to support mine planning.
• Oversee mining operations: overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile management, shipping, and grade control.
• Lead HSE initiatives by enforcing GMP, SMKP, and environmental compliance.
• Manage and mentor operations team and contractors to ensure safety and regulatory standards.
