Job summary

PT Baramutiara Prima (BMP) is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to oversee daily procurement activities for mining operations located in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra. The role emphasizes sourcing, price negotiations, and contract administration with a focus on timely processing and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of procurement experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, industrial or construction.
• Familiar with procurement of spare parts, fuel support, tools, consumables, repair services, rental equipment, site operational needs and projects.
• Experience in vendor sourcing, supplier evaluation, price comparison, negotiation, purchase order follow-up and contract administration.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking to review price reasonableness, goods quality and vendor performance.
• Demonstrate capability and effective working relationships across departments/functions.
• Have driving license A.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily procurement activities to ensure purchase requests are processed on time and in line with company procedures.
• Source vendors, request quotations, compare prices and negotiate based on price, quality, availability and delivery time.
• Support vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration to ensure reliable supplier performance and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate across internal departments and candidate vendors to ensure all procurement activities are appropriately executed.
• Monitor purchase order progress, vendor delivery and pending procurement items to prevent disruption to site operations.
• Maintain vendor records, quotation comparisons, purchase documents, tender files and approval records in accordance with internal control requirements.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, approval limits, applicable regulations and ethical standards.
