Job summary

PT Borneo Prima IMR Group is seeking a Sr. Mine Plan & Scheduling Engineer for the BUA mining site in Central Kalimantan.

The role requires strong expertise in long- and short-term mine planning, scheduling of production, hauling, and material blending, with attention to safety and Indonesian mining regulations. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, ensuring optimal equipment use and cost control while maintaining high production targets at a remote mine site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering required.
• 8–15 years of experience in open-pit coal mining operations.
• Ability to work at a remote mine site in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Plan long- and short-term mining schedules for production and hauling.
• Select optimum machinery considering deposit geometry and infrastructure.
• Provide cost comparisons (O&O) for equipment options.
• Reconcile mine plan with actual production and propose remedial actions.
• Ensure ROM is segregated into Direct Feed and Wash Feed per market conditions.
• Coordinate with geology, survey, and exploration teams as needed.
