Job summary

You will lead feasibility studies, maintain MRMR reporting with a Qualified Person, and drive productivity improvements across mining operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency in Vulcan, Deswik, Minemax, and Whittle.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.
• At least 6 years of relevant mining experience.
• Strong knowledge of nickel laterite deposits.
• Solid experience in mine planning and production scheduling.
• Experience with resource/reserve estimation methods and financial evaluation.
• Proficiency in mine planning software (Vulcan, Deswik, Minemax, Whittle).
• Good working knowledge of GIS and MS Office.
• Certified or familiar with OP/POP frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop 5-year and life-of-mine production plans optimizing IRR/NPV.
• Coordinate and produce MRMR reports with Qualified Person input.
• Lead technical/feasibility studies for productivity improvements.
• Implement and supervise EHSR standards and risk controls.
• Support readiness for new mining areas with cost and equipment estimates.
• Monitor action plans from MRMR risk registers and audits.
