Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is seeking a Long Term Planning Assistant Manager in Jakarta to develop, evaluate, and optimize long-term mine plans for sustainable and compliant operations. You will support feasibility studies, reserve estimations, and design activities while guiding the planning team and presenting findings to management.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in mine planning, strong analytical skills, and a solid grasp of Indonesian RKAB and AMDAL documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine planning.
• Experience in mineral reserve estimation documentation.
• Experience in feasibility study (FS) documentation.
• Experience in mine design and the development of supporting mining infrastructure.
• Possesses fundamental knowledge of mining cost estimation and margin analysis.
• Experience in preparing RKAB documentation in accordance with Indonesian mining regulations.
• Involvement in the preparation of AMDAL documentation, specifically in the technical aspects of mining operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Long Term Planning Manager in developing and implementing long term mine plans that optimize the extraction of mineral resources and meet production targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of long term plans with short term plans and operational goals
• Conduct regular reviews and analysis of mine plans to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Provide technical support and guidance to the mine planning team
• Prepare and present reports on long term plans to senior management and stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mine planning and make recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
