Job summary

PT MIRAE ASIA PASIFIK in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Merchandiser with a fashion design background or strong garment knowledge to join our Research & Development team. You will manage development from concept to pre-production, coordinate across Costing, Sample room, QC, and Production, and work directly with buyers to ensure requirements are met accurately and on time.

This role requires a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional with at least 2 years in merchandising or related fashion

Qualifications

Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Adobe, Photoshop, and MS Office is a plus.
Sharp eye for fabric and styling to hit target price and quality.

Responsibilities

Interpret buyer requirements and concepts, and ensure accurate execution from development through approval.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure buyer specifications are met at every stage.
Monitor development timelines and processes to ensure on-time delivery.
Build strong relationships with suppliers; negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Source and identify fabrics and styling to meet customer target price and quality.
