Job summary

PT.ASIAN COLLECTIONS GARMENTS is seeking a garment merchandising professional in Jakarta to work closely with buyers and other merchandisers. You will plan product ranges, manage costs and BOM, forecast sales, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in garment merchandising or fashion product development.
• Ability to manage budgets and predict sales and profitability.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building with suppliers.
• Knowledge of BOM, costing, and production milestones.

Responsibilities

• Work with buyers and merchandisers to plan and develop product ranges.
• Communicate with buyers, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth development and production.
• Prepare and monitor garment costing (fabric, trims, labor, production costs).
• Review and understand the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Manage budgets, costs, and target prices; forecast sales and profitability.
• Negotiate quantities, prices, and delivery lead times with suppliers.
• Follow up samples, production status, and garment POs; ensure material availability.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers to meet price, quality, and delivery targets.
• Track product development and production progress to meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
