Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an MEP Engineer in construction or property development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of construction standards, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and oversee MEP systems for construction and property projects.
• Coordinate MEP works with architects, civil/structural engineers, contractors, and project teams.
• Monitor MEP installation and construction to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, specs, and material submissions.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance of MEP works.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during construction.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on MEP requirements and schedules.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and MEP documentation.
• Ensure MEP works comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
