Job summary

PT Indonesia Equipment Centre in Sulawesi Tenggara is seeking a Senior Mechanic to handle advanced troubleshooting, overhaul of major components, electrical and ECU repairs, and preventive maintenance management for heavy vehicles.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience as a Senior Mechanic (M4), with professional certification such as BMC. Domestic domicile in Sulawesi Tenggara advantageous; English proficiency is a plus. The company is an authorized distributor of heavy equipment products.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex damage on Weichai and Cummins engines, Fast Gear transmissions, and Hande Axle differentials commonly used on Shacman units
• Lead disassembly, repair, and reassembly of major components including engine, transmission, and differential systems
• Use digital diagnostic scan tools to read fault codes (DTC) on Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of trucks
• Repair hydraulic pump systems for dumping (lifting cargo bed) and air brake systems
• Develop and oversee implementation of Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules (PM 250, 500, up to 1000 working hours)

Key responsibilities

Diagnose complex damage on Weichai and Cummins engines, Fast Gear transmissions, and Hande Axle differentials commonly used on Shacman units

Lead disassembly, repair, and reassembly of major components including engine, transmission, and differential systems
