Job summary

PT.China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to lead design production and manage all stages of HVAC design for major projects in Indonesia. The role requires coordination with consultants, supervisors and contractors, ensuring progress, quality and cost control.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical design, familiarity with British/American standards, and expertise in AutoCAD and BIM tools like Revit.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years experience in mechanical engineering design, with at least 2 large-scale project design experiences.
• Proficient in reviewing HVAC design drawings, calculations and specifications.

Job description

Fully responsible for the company's project HVAC design production work and contolling the HVAC design work from the aspects of design scope, requirements, progress, quality and costs.

Fully responsible for the HVAC design management work at all stages of the company's projects, including but not limited to reviewing and revising contract design documents, coordinating with design consultants, project supervisors, project general contractors and other relevant parties. Controlling the HVAC design management of the projet from the perspectives of progress, cost, quality and risk.

Assist in the preparation, review and performace of company project design contract signing documents, and be responsible for the HVAC design-related aspects of the contract

Participate in design coordination, disclosure meetings, expert reviews and on-site coordination meetings related to the HVAC discipline also, addition to the above mentioned main items, perform other work required for HVAC designers to fulfill their duties according to industry practices.

Job Specification :

More than 5 years experience in Mechanical engineering design firm/company, with more than 2 large-scale engineering project design experiences and the ability to independently organize water supply and drainage design work for medium-sized and lage-scale projects.

Familiar with international HVAC design specifications such as British Standard and American Standard. Able to complete HVAC design work at all stages according to the standards.

Strong ability to review HVAC design drawings, calculations, materials and SPEC (technical specifications) and able to identify problems in the design and propose optimization solutions.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other HVAC design software, as well as office and related office software; Profiiency in BIM modelling software such as Revit. Able to independently handle technical issues on the construction site of HVAC.

Understand and communicate well using English language.
