Techne Praxis seeks an Associate Director / Senior Manager – Economics & Urban Finance to lead high-impact economic and financial advisory services for urban development, infrastructure, and public sector projects in Jakarta. Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate qualification in economics, finance, public policy, urban planning, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of relevant professional experience in economic advisory, urban finance, infrastructure finance, or development consulting.
• Strong experience in economic and financial modelling, business case development, and investment appraisal.
• Demonstrated understanding of public sector financing, development finance, and infrastructure delivery models.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality reports and presentations.
• Experience working with government agencies, SOEs, development partners, or international clients is highly desirable.
• Regional experience in Southeast Asia or emerging markets is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Lead the preparation of economic, financial, and fiscal analyses for urban development, transport, infrastructure, and climate-related projects.
• Develop business cases, investment rationales, and financing strategies, including public, private, blended, and concessional financing options.
• Oversee financial and economic modelling, including cost–benefit analysis, demand forecasting, revenue modelling, and value capture assessments.
• Provide strategic advice on urban and infrastructure finance mechanisms such as land value capture, blended financing, green financing, PPPs, and municipal finance instruments.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with agreed scopes of work and client objectives.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and quality assurance.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, including national and subnational governments, SOEs, development partners, and private investors.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, scope definition, and client presentations.
• Support knowledge development and thought leadership in economics, urban finance, and infrastructure investment.
