Job summary

Techne Praxis seeks a Senior leader for Real Estate Advisory in Jakarta, driving complex engagements in land development, TOD, and portfolio strategy. You will mentor teams, shape advisory offerings, and contribute to business development with government, developers, and investors.

You will lead multidisciplinary work streams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and build long-term client relationships across public and private sectors from Indonesia's capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in real estate, urban planning, economics, finance, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee real estate advisory assignments, including market and feasibility studies, HBU analysis, TOD and mixed-use development strategy, and asset portfolio optimization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including government agencies, SOEs, developers, investors, and development partners.
• Provide strategic direction and quality assurance on financial feasibility, development phasing, investment structuring, and value capture mechanisms.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (planning, economics, finance, transport, sustainability) to deliver integrated advisory outputs.
• Drive business development activities, including proposal leadership, client pitching, and relationship management.

About the Role

The Director / Associate Director, Real Estate Advisory is a senior leadership role responsible for leading complex real estate, urban development, and asset strategy advisory assignments. The role combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and deep sector knowledge to support public and private sector clients across land development, transit-oriented development (TOD), portfolio strategy, regeneration, and investment planning.

This position plays a critical role in shaping TP’s real estate advisory offering, leading client engagements, mentoring teams, and contributing to business development and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee real estate advisory assignments, including market and feasibility studies, highest and best use (HBU) analysis,real estate,TOD and mixed-use development strategy, and asset portfolio optimization.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including government agencies, SOEs, developers, investors, and development partners.

Provide strategic direction and quality assurance on financial feasibility, development phasing, investment structuring, and value capture mechanisms.

Lead multidisciplinary teams (planning, economics, finance, transport, sustainability) to deliver integrated advisory outputs.

Drive business development activities, including proposal leadership, client pitching, and relationship management.

Contribute to TP’s intellectual capital through thought leadership, frameworks, publications, and internal capability building.

Mentor and develop managers and consultants, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.

Support internal governance, project risk management, and commercial performance (fees, margins, resourcing).

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in real estate, urban planning, economics, finance, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

10–15+ years of professional experience in real estate advisory, urban development, infrastructure-linked property, or investment consulting.

Strong understanding of real estate economics, development feasibility, and public–private development models.

Proven experience leading complex client engagements and multidisciplinary teams.

Strong commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English isrequired.
